Collection: New Smyrna series

This series was Inspired by our family's love of NSB where we spent many vacations enjoying the beautiful sandy beach. We took full advantage of the ocean wave riding our boogie boards and kayaks.  We built numerous 'Sand Fortifications' to stop the incoming waves and flew a variety of kites.  Early mornings were spent going for long strolls along the beach looking for unique shells and driftwood to use in my pottery.  Along the way we would see all these trails leading to nesting sites where the 'mama' turtles had come during the night to lay their eggs.
